We know that 100% of 659 is, well, just 659.**Step 2:**If 100% of 659 is 659, then we can get 1% of 659 by dividing it by 100. Let's do 659 / 100. This is equal to 6.59. Now we know that 1% is 6.59.**Step 3:**Now that we know what 1% of 659 is, we just need to multiply it by 1 to get our solution! 6.59 times 1 = 6.59. That's all there is to it!
